The Claymore Lounge

Opening times:
Open during performances and also open to the public from 9am - 4pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 3pm on Saturdays.

You don't need to be attending a show to visit The Claymore Lounge during the day so please do drop by for a cuppa or a bite to eat.

Serving an assortment of hot and cold drinks (including Starbuck's coffee), cakes and sweets during performances at Tamworth Assembly Rooms. Also during the general public opening hours it offers cakes, paninis, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and other light bites with an increasing lunch-time menu being developed over the coming months.

The Saxon Suite

When attending an event or performance within Tamworth Assembly Rooms, you will be able to chose from a wide range of refreshments including bottled beer, wines, spirits, soft drinks as well as a variety of hot drinks. In addition, sweets, confectionary and ice creams can be purchased too.

The bar opens 45 minutes prior to a performance. 

Don't forget that you can pre-order your interval drinks before the performance to beat the queues!

The Claymore Lounge on the other side of the venue also operates as a limited bar during larger performances. 

Ice Creams are available from the bar. Our Ice Cream's are locally produced, gluten free and suitable for vegetarians.

Pre-orders

In order to avoid congestion at the bar during the interval, it is advisable to pre-order your drinks prior to the start of the performance. To make use of this service, please speak to one of our friendly bar staff who will be happy to assist you.
