October is nearly here, and if you love Halloween, scary stories, dressing up and a little bit of the unknown, Tamworth Assembly Rooms has some exciting events lined up.

This year, there are three very different ways to enjoy the spooky season – from an immersive theatre experience to a fun Halloween show, and a real paranormal investigation on Halloween night.
So, what’s happening?

BLACKOUT
Friday 2 October 2026.  7.30pm. Ages 15+ Tickets: £25
If you like your theatre with a side of suspense, BLACKOUT could be just the ticket.
This immersive theatrical experience takes you inside an old theatre where things aren't quite what they seem.
The story begins with a small cast arriving for what should be a straightforward rehearsal. But the building has a reputation, and there are plenty of old stories and warnings that have been passed down over the years.

At first, they are easy to ignore.
Then things start to change…….

As the doors close, the audience is taken into a world of shadows, strange sounds and unexpected twists. The line between the performance and reality begins to blur, creating an experience where you won't always know what is coming next.
If you enjoy being kept on the edge of your seat, this one could be for you.
Just remember – BLACKOUT is strictly for ages 15 and over.

Get ready for VILLAINS UNLEASHED
Thursday 29 October 2026.  Doors 1pm, show 2pm. Tickets: £15.50
Not every Halloween event has to be scary!

Just before Halloween, the villains are taking over Tamworth Assembly Rooms with VILLAINS UNLEASHED.
It's time for the princesses to step aside as the villains come together to create the ultimate Halloween party.
Expect songs, dancing, costumes and plenty of Halloween mischief during this hour-long show.

The best part? You can get involved too!

Tamworth Assembly Rooms is encouraging everyone to come dressed in their favourite Halloween costume. So, whether you want to be a witch, vampire, monster or your favourite villain, this is your chance to get into the Halloween spirit.
And if you're brave enough, you can even meet the villains themselves at the FREE meet and greet after the show.
It's a great choice for families looking for some Halloween fun without the scares.

Spend Halloween night with Unique Paranormal
Saturday 31 October 2026. 6.30pm – 2am. Ages 18+ Tickets: £45
For something a little more unusual, why not spend Halloween night investigating the paranormal?

Unique Paranormal is bringing its immersive paranormal investigation experience to the historic Tamworth Assembly Rooms.
Running from 6.30pm until 2am, this is your chance to explore the theatre after dark and see if you can find evidence of anything unexplained.

You don't need to be an experienced ghost hunter. Unique Paranormal welcomes everyone, including curious beginners, sceptics and people who already have experience with paranormal investigations.

You'll have the chance to use investigation equipment and take part in an evening designed to give you a hands-on experience of paranormal investigation.

With only 40 tickets available, places are limited.

And, of course, because it's taking place late on Halloween night, the event is strictly 18+.
