Live music, legendary anthems and unforgettable nights out; Assembly Amplified is bringing the buzz of standing gigs to Tamworth Assembly Rooms, with a packed programme of tribute acts and music nights spanning rock, indie, alternative, reggae, Northern Soul and 80s favourites.

Music fans are invited to turn up the volume, grab their friends and experience the atmosphere of a live gig as Assembly Amplified transforms the venue into a place to sing along, dance and celebrate some of the biggest sounds in music.

From the electrifying energy of The Prodigy and AC/DC to the anthems of Oasis, Foo Fighters and Stereophonics, there is something for fans of all ages and musical tastes. The programme also celebrates the sounds of The Cure, The Smiths and The Stone Roses, alongside dedicated nights of reggae, Northern Soul, indie and 80s classics.

With standing performances at the heart of the series, audiences can get closer to the action and enjoy Tamworth Assembly Rooms in full gig mode. Selected shows also offer limited balcony seating.

Jilted Generation: The Prodigy Tribute- Friday 13 November 2026

The longest running tribute to the Prodigy have been tearing it up around the UK and parts of Europe for two decades.

Get ready for a high-energy night celebrating the sound and attitude of The Prodigy. Packed with the beats and intensity that made the band a defining force in electronic music.

Allstar Reggae - Friday 20 November 2026

Allstar Reggae brings decades of iconic reggae music to the stage in one huge, high-energy live show. Featuring a powerhouse 7–9-piece band, complete with a three-piece horn section and three lead vocalists, this is reggae performed the way it should be - big, bold and completely live.

Feel the rhythm and settle into the sounds of reggae with a night dedicated to the genre’s unmistakable beats and feel-good grooves.

Kick Up the 80’s - Saturday 21 November 2026

Are you ready for an evening filled with the greatest 80’s classics? With hits from Depeche Mode, Human League, Duran Duran, Bon Jovi, The Jam, Simple Minds, Madness and many more 80’s anthems, this is not to be missed! 

Step back into a decade of big tunes, bold sounds and floor-filling favourites with a celebration of 80s music.

Foo Fighters GB - Saturday 28 November 2026

Rock out to the music of Foo Fighters as this tribute act brings the band’s powerful sound and stadium-sized anthems to Tamworth.

The Smiths Ltd - Saturday 20 February 2027

Returning to the Assembly Rooms after a sell out show in 2026, if you’ve never seen The Smiths then this is your chance to experience the thrill of those great songs played live. If you were lucky enough to see them first time around, then prepare to relive that excitement again.

Celebrate the music of The Smiths, with a night dedicated to the songs and sound of one of the most influential bands of the alternative music scene.

ALL OUT INDIE - Saturday 27 March 2027

Taking audiences back to the sounds of the 2000s and beyond, the night will feature The Naivie Kooks, Sam Fenda and The Mardy Chums, bringing together three distinctive sounds for an evening packed with jangling guitars, big choruses and plenty of indie energy.

Whether you lived through the indie explosion or simply love the music, ALL OUT INDIE promises a great night to sing, dance and enjoy live music with friends.

Electromantics - Friday 2 April 2027

Celebrate the bold sounds and style of the 80s, paying tribute to New Romantic pioneers with a visually stunning and sonically accurate live show. 

Their energetic performances also feature Manochrome’s unique robotic dancing. Get ready for a nostalgic trip through 80s New Wave, Synth Pop and New Romantic classics. Expect electronic sounds, iconic songs and plenty of reasons to get moving.

Oasis fans, this one is for you! Noasis brings the swagger, singalong choruses and much-loved anthems of the Manchester legends to Tamworth for two nights of Britpop nostalgia.

Northern Soul Live: The Signatures - Saturday 15 May 2027

Dust off your dancing shoes for a celebration of Northern Soul, featuring The Signatures. With dancing encouraged, this is your chance to hit the floor and enjoy the infectious energy of the genre. 

Playing the timeless classics of the 70s that defined a generation at the Wigan Casino, these outstanding musicians have been featured as the house band on The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, BBC 6 Music.

The Total Stone Roses - Saturday 12 June 2027

The Phonics - Saturday 10 July 2027

Sing along to the biggest hits of Stereophonics as The Phonics bring the Welsh rock favourites’ music to the Assembly Rooms.

The Cureheads and Siouxsie & The Budgiees - Saturday 2 October 2027

Two alternative icons come together for a special double bill celebrating the music of The Cure and Siouxsie and the Banshees. A must for fans of post-punk, gothic rock and classic alternative sounds. 

The Cureheads, the original tribute to Britain’s ‘Godfathers of Goth’, recreate the unmistakable sound and style of The Cure, performing classics including Boys Don’t Cry, Friday I’m in Love, A Forest and Just Like Heaven.

Joining them, Siouxsie & The Budgiees bring the fierce sound and striking style of Siouxsie and the Banshees to life, with favourites including Hong Kong Garden and Happy House.
