What is TEDx?

In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.

What does it mean to truly belong? In 2026, TEDxTamworth explores the powerful, complex, and often personal theme of Belonging — from identity and inclusion, to connection, culture, and community. We're looking for bold ideas, fresh perspectives, and untold stories that challenge, inspire, and connect. TEDxTamworth 2026 will showcase 12 fantastic speakers sharing their ideas along the theme of Belonging.
